Arrest Made In Medford Shooting

The arrest was made in less than 24 hours after the incident.

MEDFORD, MA — The police department has made an arrest of a shooting on Light Guard Drive this past weekend that left a juvenile injured.

Core Moore, 22, was arrested on a total of 10 charges headlined by three counts of armed assault to murder. Other charges include strangulation and suffocation, assault and battery on a family member, and carrying a firearm without a license.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2 a.m. on Friday, July 5. The juvenile was given medical assistance and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Multiple shell casings were also found at the scene.

Moore was arraigned in Somerville District Court on Monday.
