The event is inspired by National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
MEDFORD, MA — The city is accepting unwanted prescription drugs from community members as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 25.
Residents will have a four-hour window beginning at 10 a.m. to bring pills, capsules, tablets, and liquid medications to the event’s new location of police headquarters on 100 Main St. in the community room. Items such as thermometers, IV bags, and needles headline things that will not be accepted.
