From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

Medford Public Schools has launched a new app so residents can stay up on the latest news and information from the school district, <a href="http://www.medfordpublicschools.org/2013/05/medford-public-schools-launches-app/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to a post on the school website</a>. The School Connect app is free and is available for both Apple and Android mobile devices. The school district says you can also get it for any other device with a web browser.  More information on how to get the app is available <a href="http://www.medfordpublicschools.org/2013/05/medford-public-schools-launches-app/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here</a>.
