Medford Taking Part In National Prescription Take Back Day
The initiative is nationally recognized on a day in late April.
MEDFORD, MA — The city announced Monday that the police department, board of health, and Wegman’s grocery store on the Mystic Valley Parkway are working together to gather unwanted prescription drugs from community members as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 26.
The four-hour event is slated to begin at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the Medford Police Department on 100 Main St.
Pills, capsules, tablets, and liquid medications are all accepted. Items such as thermometers and IV bags headline things that will not be accepted.
