Medford to Hold 'Shred Event' at City Hall Wednesday

Residents can bring anything they need shredded to city hall Wednesday.

Medford residents looking to dispose of documents can bring them to City Hall Wednesday for a free shred.

The City Council approved a resolution from Councilor Paul Camuso earlier this year to hold a shredding event, and Mayor Michael McGlynn has set it for Wednesday, May 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall.

Security technicians from Universal Shredding will be on hand with shredding and security equipment, including a video surveillance system, according to a posting on the city's website.
