From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

The following was provided by the Medford Office of Veterans' Services: The office of veterans' services is currently collecting items to be sent to military personnel stationed in middle east or overseas. Donated items will be accepted in person at the Office of Veterans Services' at City Hall until August 1. Among the items requested: Letters of encouragement and thanks, used or new DVD/CD's, used or new soft covered books, new AA batteries, things that remind them of home, etc. This office can accept only authorized items for donation, thank you for your cooperation. For a complete list of approved items for donation, please call (781) 393-2503.
