Medford Weighs Future Of Carr Park
Consultants will unveil three preliminary designs for the park at a meeting Wednesday.

MEDFORD, MA — Medford will hold a public engaged session on Wednesday, Sept. 29 to discuss the future of Carr Park.
Consultant CBA Landscape Architects will present three preliminary designs based on public feedback. Close to 300 residents submitted feedback through an online survey and four tabling sessions at the park, where attendees spoke to designers and staff about what they wanted for Carr Park.

Wednesday's meeting will be held on-site at Carr Park from 4-7 p.m. The city also held an in-person meeting Sept. 25 at the Mystic River Celebration at the Condon Shell to discuss the designs.
An overall Vision Plan will be developed based on community feedback. Carr Park was highlighted in both the 2011 and 2019 Open Space and Recreation plans as needing renovations.
