UPDATED: Bank Robber Threatened Teller's Life, Took Cash and Ran from Credit Union

The Members Plus Credit Union in Medford Square was robbed Monday morning by a man who threatened the life a teller in a note, police said.
About 9:50 a.m., a white male wearing a white Harvard University hooded sweatshirt entered the bank and handed the teller a note that read "give me all the cash in your drawer or you die in 5 minutes,” according to a Medford police press release.
The man received an unspecified amount of cash and fled on foot, police said. He remained at large as of Monday afternoon. He was last seen running toward Bradlee Road, said the press release, written by Lt. Paul Covino.

Along with the hoodie, the suspect wore blue rubber gloves, a faded green baseball cap and blue jeans, the press release said. The suspect is about 5’ 7” to 5’ 9” with a stocky, muscular build, police said.
Police, including the K-9 unit, scoured Medford Square looking for the suspect Monday morning. The branch was temporarily closed as police interviewed bank personnel.

No weapon was shown or mentioned in the robbery and no one was hurt, police said.
