Cambridge Police are investigating a series of gunshots that occurred early Sunday on Bishop Allen Drive as nearby bars and clubs were closing. At approximately 2:14 a.m. Sunday morning, police said officers responded to Bishop Allen Drive and discovered two motor vehicles parked in Lot 6 that were struck by gunfire. There were no reported injuries or victims, but police said officers recovered two firearms and 13 shell casings. Responding officers spoke with a number of witnesses and all indications are that this incident was not random, police said.The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Cambridge Police at 617-349-3300.
