Police Log: Man Arrested After Allegedly Dragging Cop with Scooter

A Cambridge man faces five charges after allegedly dragging a police officer on his motor scooter.

Toure Penn-Foster, 26, was stopped on the Fellsway on his scooter about 3 a.m. Friday for an equipment violation, when he realized the officer planned to arrest him because he had a suspended license, Penn-Foster tried to take off, police said. The arresting officer was allegeldy briefly dragged before stopping the scooter.

Penn-Foster is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, failure to stop for police, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, and operating with a suspended license.

He is one of four people arrested between Friday, June 22 and Sunday, June 24. Here's a look at some of the events from the police log (Charges are alleged. Events, locations and times appear as they were recorded by police):
