Tufts Kiddie Pool Closed After Concrete Cracks

MEDFORD, MA — The Tufts Kiddie Pool is closed for repairs after a piece of concrete near the drains broke off Monday night.
The crack is sharp and deep, making it unsafe for children to walk across the pool, the Recreation Department said.
The pool will be drained, and crews from the Recreation and Public Works departments will patch the concrete. The pool is expected to reopen Friday, July 23.
