Warren Narrowly Out-Raising Brown in Medford

A look at Federal Election Commission data.

Democrat Challenger Elizabeth Warren has narrowly received more donations from Medford residents Republican incumbent U.S. Senator Scott Brown since the start of 2011, depite Warren only being in the race since August of last year.

Warren, a Harvard Law School professor and Chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel, has received 56 individual donations from Medford residents totalling $13,030 since joining the race in August 2011 through June 2012, according to data from the Federal Elections Commission. Brown, who was elected 2010, has received 40 individual contributions from Medford residents since January 2010, totalling $11,850, according to the data.

In all, Brown's campaign has received $15,881,836 in contributions, while Warren has received $24,278,683, according to the data.
