Wegmans Hosting Local Hiring Event, With Bonuses Up To $1,500
The Rochester-based company is looking to hire 375 people across six stores, including Medford.
MEDFORD, MA — Wegmans will host a hiring event next week aimed at staffing up six supermarkets in Massachusetts, including its location in Medford.
Wegmans will hire about 375 people across the stores for full and part-time roles. The jobs range from customer service to food prep and management. The jobs are a mix of seasonal and long-term roles, according to the company.
Some full and part-time jobs will come with sign-on bonuses. The company will offer $500 for customer service roles, $750 for pharmacy technicians and $1,500 for managers. Wegmans also offers health benefits and a scholarship program to employees.

The hiring event will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5. Job-seekers can go to the stores in person, but should fill out an application online first.
The Wegmans in Medford is located at the Meadow Glen Mall, 3850 Mystic Valley Pkwy.
