Candidate Debates To Air on MMTV

State Senate Democratic candidates and state House Republican candidates squared off this week.

Wakefield Community Access Television's (WCAT) debates on Tuesday night between the candidates seeking the state Senate seat currently held by Richard Tisei and the state representative seat currently held by Katherine Clark will air on MMTV this coming week on Channel 3 or 39, according to MMTV's community outreach and membership director Mary Beth McAteer-Margolis.

The Senate and House debates, each running one hour, will air back-to-back, McAteer-Margolis said. The schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, Aug. 19 at 10 p.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 23 at 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 5 p.m.

MMTV will continue to air the debates over the next few weeks leading up to the primaries on Tuesday, Sept. 14. Voters can also read coverage of the Senate debate and House debate on Melrose Patch.
