Dunkin Donuts on Parkway Wants to Add Drive-Thru

The Dunkin Donuts on the Lynn Fells Parkway in Melrose, at the corner of the parkway and Melrose Street, is seeking to add a drive-thru window.

The Melrose Zoning Board of Appeals will hear an appeal from The Scrivanos Group, owner of the Dunkin Donuts in question, at its meeting on Wednesday, July 28 at 7:45 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chamber at City Hall.

The Scrivanos Group is seeking relief from two city zoning ordinances: the permitted uses for the zone where the Dunkin Donuts is located and the site plan review process.

The rear of the Dunkin Donuts currently has a small driveway for cars parked on the right of the building to circle around the building and exit the parking lot.
