Letter to the Editor: Medeiros Thanks Voters and Supporters

To the editor:

I want to sincerely thank those voters who put their confidence in me by casting their vote on my behalf in the race for the Republican nomination for State Representative in the 32nd Middlesex District. I am so very grateful for the consideration.

To everyone who met me at their doorstep and shared a few minutes of their precious time, I thank you.

Most of all, I would like to thank my supporters who volunteered on my behalf, held signs, worked long hours in my campaign office, went door-to-door with me and allowed me to put signs in their yards.

I have been honored to have such wonderful, giving people around me. To all of you, I have been complimented so many times along the campaign trail because of your kindness. I cannot thank you enough for standing with me in this fight.

I would like to congratulate David Lucas on his victory in the primary. His enthusiasm was clearly reflected in the great campaign he ran. I wish him luck as he moves toward November and ask those who supported me to give David the same consideration they gave me.

There is much work to do to get this state back on track.

I will continue to do my best to look out for us at the local level and am looking forward to coming back from our summer break on the Board of Aldermen this week.
