Lincoln School Students to Visit Melrose Public Library

Here is a sampling of five things to know on Tuesday, Sept. 17 in Melrose:

1. Field trip: Second grade students from the Lincoln Elementary School will be taking a field trip to the Meeting Room at Melrose Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, according to the library website.

2. Meeting time:
The Melrose Veterans Advisory Board meeting is slated for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the downstairs conference room at City Hall, according to the city website.

3. New members wanted: The Great Book Club, which is looking for new members, meets from 7-8:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Meeting Room at Melrose Public Library, according to the library website.

4. Senior activities: Here is the schedule of activities planned for Tuesday at the Milano Senior Center, according to senior center's September newsletter:

8:30 a.m.: Primetime fitness
8:30 a.m.: Tai Chi
9:30 a.m.: Art class
9:30 a.m.: Swedish weaving
