Melrose High School Fall Play Opens Thursday

Melrose High School students will perform "Sideways Stories from Wayside School" this week.

MELROSE, MA — A beloved children’s book will come to life this week when Melrose High School students take the stage for opening night of their fall play – “Sideways Stories from Wayside School.”

Sideways Stories is based on a book by the same name by author Louis Sachar. The original book told the story of individual students and teachers in the fictional Wayside School.

The Friends of Melrose Drama this week described the Sideways Stories play as a “zany, family-friendly show.”
