Local kids will be selling lemonade and lollipops from 2-4 p.m. Friday on Woodcrest Drive to aid the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, according to a post on the Melrose Patch Facebook page.

The 12-year-old girls will be selling lemonade or lollipops for 50 cents each from a large table with red, white and blue balloons tied to it in front of our home at 36 Woodcrest Dr., according to Rob Cunningham in an email to Melrose Patch.

"Lemonade for love! Support those (affected) from the (Boston Marathon) bombings," wrote reader Melissa Lineham Cunningham on the Facebook page. "All funds will be donated to OneFundBoston," a city-established account where donations can be made to support Boston Marathon bombings victims.
