Melrose Man Summonsed Following Disturbance Call

At 6:52 a.m. Aug. 19, Melrose police responded to a Main Street apartment for a report of a domestic disturbance, according to a police log. The call was transferred from a 911 state police line, and a woman could reportedly be heard saying "give me the keys" to someone else during the call. A 56-year-old Melrose man was summonsed for unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Aug. 18

9:30 a.m.: Police called to Pleasant Street for a report of damage to a vehicle, according to a police log.

1:22 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Lynn Fells Parkway and Main Street for a report of an accident, according to a police log. Two vehicles were towed from the scene, while one person was taken to a hospital, according to the log. 

Aug. 19

2:29 a.m.: Police called to Walgreens parking log for a report of kids playing kickball, according to a police log. The kids were sent on their way, the log adds.
