Melrose Middle School Dance is Friday Night

Here are five things to know for Friday, Sept. 20 in Melrose:

1. Dance it up: The first middle school dance is slated for 7-10 p.m. Friday at Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch. Admission is $8.

2. Senior activities: Take a look at the schedule of activities slated for Friday at the Milano Senior Center, according to the senior center's September newsletter:

8:30 a.m.: Social worker 
8:30 a.m.: Primetime fitness
9:30 a.m.: Watercolor class
10 a.m.: Aerobics
12 p.m.: Lunch - fish sticks or chef’s salad
12:30 p.m.: Cribbage
1:30 p.m.: Bingo
2 p.m.: State Rep. Paul Brodeur visit
