Melrose Nonprofit In Need Of New Pajamas For Foster Kids

MelroseKind has asked community members to drop off new pajamas in newborn through teenage sizes on their Kindness Porch at 249 Grove St.

MELROSE, MA – MelroseKind, a local nonprofit organization helping encourage fellow Melrosians to reach out to each other with kindness, is in need of new pajamas for foster children.

May is National Foster Care Awareness Month, and the nonprofit is doing a pajama drive for The Foster Box, an organization that provides and delivers clothing to new foster families and children.

Last year, the nonprofit collected twenty new childrens' pajamas for The Foster Box, Stephanie Nelson, MelroseKind co-founder and executive director of the Melrose Chamber of Commerce, wrote in an email.
