Melrose Orchestra Starting May Off With Symphonic Show

The upcoming performance is the symphony's final of the Spring season.

MELROSE, MA — The Melrose Symphony Orchestra is returning to Memorial Hall this weekend for its season finale concert.

The Orchestra’s “May Pops” are slated for Saturday, May 3 at 8 p.m. Pianist, composer, and recording artist Dr. Karen Walwyn is the featured soloist. Walwyn, a recipient of the International Steinway Artist Award, has made appearances on PBS and other television networks for her talents. In addition, she is also a professor at the Berklee College of Music.

Music from famous composers John Williams and Henry Mancini will be recited by the Orchestra. Tickets are still available online for $30, with a discounted ticket offered for students at $10.
