Gunshots Fired At Vehicle At Melrose Intersection: Police
Police said there were no injuries and no one has been taken into custody after at least two gunshots were fired at a vehicle Friday.

MELROSE, MA — Police said they are investigating after at least two gunshots were fired at a vehicle Friday afternoon.
No one was injured and there is no threat to the community, authorities said.
Officers responded to a shots fired call at 3 p.m. near the Mount Vernon Avenue and Mount Vernon Street intersection. Police said a suspect fired at least two rounds in the direction of a vehicle. The vehicle drove away and the shooter ran southbound on Main Street.

The suspect is described as a Black male, about 6 feet tall, wearing a Chicago Bulls jacket and sweatpants.
Police believe the shooter and an unknown number of people inside the vehicle know each other.
