Melrose School Gets Facelift, New Windows
This project will replace the windows that were installed when the school was built in 1965 with new, energy-efficient windows.

MELROSE, MA - It’s the first day of vacation for students, but a construction crew is hard at work at the Hoover School in Melrose—the window replacement project began today. This project will replace the windows that were installed when the school was built in 1965 with new, energy-efficient windows that will allow more natural light in the rooms, according to a school release. Some of the doors will also be replaced, and the front entry will be made more welcoming, a release said. This work is being done with matching funds from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, a release said.
Principal Jenny Corduck took this photo today of the work in progress.
