Planning To Run For Melrose Office? Get A Head Start On The Process

MELROSE, MA — Nomination papers are now available for residents who want to run for city government this November.

The city announced Thursday that prospective candidates can visit the Elections Office on the first floor of City Hall between now and Sept. 12 for the offices of School Committee, Councilor At Large, and Ward Councilor. Completed nomination forms must be returned to the Elections Office by Sept. 16 at 5 p.m. Melrose’s 2025 Municipal Election is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 4.
