Public Information Meeting — Melrose Community Power Program Update

Residents and business owners who aren't currently enrolled in MCP are welcome to attend.

Melrose, MA – The City of Melrose is holding a virtual public information meeting to share updates and answer questions about the continuation of the Melrose Community Power (MCP) program on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 6:30 PM. The link to register and participate in the online meeting is on the City of Melrose website under the “Access Public Meetings” tab and on the MCP website mcp.cityofmelrose.org.

This meeting is an opportunity to learn more and ask questions. Residents and business owners who aren’t currently enrolled in MCP are welcome to attend because the program is open to anyone in the City of Melrose.

No action is needed from program participants to continue with the program - the transition to the next three years is seamless.

A program update was mailed to every participant in the program on October 29, explaining the new rates, the renewable energy included in the program and how to choose the 100% renewable energy option. Join the virtual meeting to learn more details about these and other electricity topics.
