Foil Highlights

Foil highlights are a more traditional approach, best for to disguise those stubborn grays. Foils are uniformed and applied to the tip top of the root.

Ombre

Ombre is when you have a dramatic contrast from dark to light, little to no gradual gradient. Instead of the color starting from the roots, it gradually becomes lighter, or darker, towards the ends. The word “ombre” in French means shadow or shade.

Sombre

Sombre is a more natural ombre, similar sunkissed beachy color. This color technique have the lighter sections start up a bit higher and the lower lengths have ribbons of dark color for a more gradual transition.

Balayage

Balayage is a French coloring technique that was developed in the 1970s. It’s a freehand technique where the color is applied by hand rather than using the traditional foiling or cap highlighting techniques. Can be dramatic or subtle.
