Square One Mall Hosts Job Fair Saturday

We post a lot about jobs here on Patch. But many of those are geared towards adults exclusively, and don’t offer adolescents the milestone experience of working at a mall all summer.

So it might interest readers to know that on Saturday, May 16, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Square One Mall in Saugus - which is next door to Melrose - is hosting a job fair for summer retail gigs.

Presumptive applicants are advised to bring a resume and show up in job-interview-appropriate attire.

Let’s face it, if malls weren’t cool anymore, would Kevin Smith be preparing to film a sequel to 1995’s “Mallrats”?.....Well, maybe he would, but that’s beside the point.
