Melrose celebrated the Fourth of July with the annual bike and carriage parade at the Common and the Fourth of July concert at Mount Hood.

Dina DeCecca, mother of a 10-year-old daughter and 7-year-old-daughter, died in a tragic bicycling accident on Martha's Vineyard.
