Where To See Santa In Melrose This Christmas Season

Santa is making the rounds to multiple nearby places ahead of Christmas day.

MELROSE, MA — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Melrose families. In Melrose, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Here are the details:

Home For The Holidays: On Friday, Dec. 6, Santa Claus is slated to parade through Main Street downtown on a fire engine led by Melrose High School drummers.

Knights of Columbus: Also on Dec. 6, Santa will be available at the Knights of Columbus on 23 West Foster St. from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Stone Zoo: As part of its "ZooLights" annual event, attendees can also do a meet and greet with Santa on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. through Dec. 18 on 149 Pond St. in Stoneham.

Pine Banks Park: Santa Claus is returning to the park on Main Street that sits on the border of Melrose and Malden.

Santa is also holding court at several shopping malls in the local area, including:

The Square One Mall: The Route 1 staple on 1201 Broadway Saugus is once again hosting “The Santa Photo Experience” daily through Tuesday, Dec. 24.

The North Shore Mall: “The Santa Photo Experience” is also at the Peabody mall daily through Monday, Dec. 16.

The Burlington Mall: The shopping mall located on 75 Middlesex Turnpike in its namesake town is also hosting Santa Claus through the photo experience through Dec. 16 as well.

The South Shore Plaza: Located on Granite Street in Braintree, The Plaza is hosting “The Santa Photo Experience” through Dec. 16 on the same schedule as its North Shore counterpart.
