Woman Charged In Saugus Murder Near Orange Dinosaur Landmark

SAUGUS, MA — A woman is facing murder charges in connection with the death of a man in Saugus last weekend.

Angjeliki Hodaj, 33, of Saugus, has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of 26-year-old Michael Norton on Dec. 11, the Essex District Attorney's Office said.

On Sunday, the district attorney's office, in conjunction with Saugus police and Massachusetts State Police, confirmed they were investigating a fatal incident at the Essex Landing apartment complex, located near the orange dinosaur landmark on Route 1.

Police Chief Michael Ricciardelli says Norton was found dead at his home at 44 Collins Ave. by family members Sunday.

Hodaj is expected to be arraigned Friday in Lynn District Court.
