3 MA Bed, Bath & Beyond Stores Closing
The three local stores are among the more than 50 across the nation that Bed, Bath & Beyond is eliminating.

MILFORD, MA — Three Massachusetts Bed, Bath & Beyond stores will cease to exist soon as part of a wider set of nationwide closures the struggling home goods chain is conducting this fall.
The chain announced a total of 56 store closures this week, according to CNBC. Connecticut and Massachusetts are the only two New England states that will see Bed, Bath & Beyond closures.

- Milford, 230 Fortune Boulevard
- Seekonk, 35 Highland Ave.
- Dorchester, 8B Allstate Road
The struggling home goods retailer released its plans last month to close the “lower producing” locations, representing about 20 percent of its namesake stores, according the report.
The closures are part of a broader plan to try to stabilize the company’s finances and turn around its declining sales. In late August, Bed Bath secured more than $500 million in new financing, including a loan, ahead of the key holiday season.

The stores that are closing are scattered across the U.S., from California and Nevada to Ohio and Florida.
