Annual Scholarship Winners Announced by Milford Regional Medical Center

Two scholarships were recently awarded at Milford Regional Medical Center to members of the Class of 2016.

Milford, MA- Two scholarships were recently awarded at Milford Regional Medical Center to members of the Class of 2016. The Bill Perry Memorial Scholarship and the Milford Regional Auxiliary Scholarship are awarded annually to local students. Bill Perry Memorial Scholarship

The Bill Perry Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Olivia Casella of Hopkinton and Meghan Wills of Uxbridge. The recipients are Milford Regional volunteers who wrote an essay on how they exemplify the characteristics valued by former volunteer Bill Perry including volunteerism, athletics and sense of humor. Both students plan to study nursing. Meghan will attend Pennsylvania State University, and Olivia will attend Simmons College. Milford Regional Auxiliary Scholarship

Milford Regional Medical Center’s Auxiliary recently awarded their annual scholarships to Hannah Martel of Uxbridgeand Matthew Bourgeois of Blackstone. Hannah will attend UMass Amherst to study nursing to pursue a career as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner. Matthew will attend Bridgewater State University to study chemistry for pharmaceutical research and engineering and is considering a career in the biotechnology and biomedical field.
