A bar and restaurant owned by an Uxbridge restaurateur and a Milford firefighter will open next month on Central Street. The Central Tavern is expected to open at 31 Central St. by May. It is owned by Paul Iacovelli, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kapis-Pub/167690631970?rf=135427179859565" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">who runs Kapi's Pub on North Main Street in Uxbridge</a>, and Alfred Pighetti, a Milford firefighter who said he plans to retire next year and is looking for a new business venture. Milford Selectmen approved the transfer of the business license, alcohol and entertainment licenses, subject to Board of Health approval of plans. the most recent business in that location, closed in November 2012.
