Fire Destroys Milford Home, Fundraiser Aids Resident Left Homeless

MILFORD, MA — A fire destroyed a home along Willow Road Monday evening, displacing a woman who lived inside.

The fire broke out around 5 p.m. Monday in a northwest Milford neighborhood. The woman who was inside at the time escaped without injury, according to reports. Fire departments from as far away as Franklin came to Milford to assist.

Friends of the homeowner set up a GoFundMe fundraiser for her on Monday, seeking to raise $10,000 to help pay for possible repairs and the loss of possessions.
