MILFORD, MA — A former Mexican restaurant along Route 109 in Milford may soon become a new gas station and car wash, according to plans filed with the Milford Zoning Board of Appeals.

Mendon-based Rte. 85 Realty Corp. has applied for a ZBA special permit to build a nearly 5,000 square-foot gas station and convenience store, and an approximately 1,700 square-foot car wash. The new facility would be located at 53-55 Medway St., which is the site of the former Alamo Restaurante and a single family home.

According to state records, the president of Rte. 85 Realty Corp. is Kevin Meehan, the owner of Imperial Cars in Mendon. The company bought the two Medway Street parcels in November for a combined $1 million, according to the Worcester County Registry of Deeds.
