Snowstorm: School Closed In Milford, Trash Pickup Delayed
A nor'easter Tuesday could bring up to 8 inches of snow to the Milford area.

MILFORD, MA — With a potentially strong nor'easter set to hit the region Tuesday, Milford will delay trash and recycling pickup this week, and schools will be closed.
With no pickup on Tuesday, that day's pickup will take place Wednesday. Wednesday's pickup will take place Thursday and so on through Saturday.
"Please do not put your rubbish/recycling barrels out at the curb during the storm in order to assist snow-clearing operations," the town said in an update Monday morning.

A storm that was initially predicted to bring around 12 inches of snow to the area shifted south Monday afternoon, putting the heavier bands of snow closer to central Rhode Island. Milford is still in an area that forecasters think could see 6 to 8 inches by the end of day Tuesday.
Any Milford resident with questions about the trash and recycling delay can call E.L. Harvey at 1-800-321-3002.
