Champa has 10 headlining dates across New England scheduled over the summer and is working to finalize a few more. He will be taping throughout the “I Need A Favor” tour, and plans to release highlights from the tour as part of a recap sizzle reel for his YouTube and social media channels.

“I'm thrilled to be kicking off the tour at a club where so many of the Boston greats got their start,” Champa said. “I grew up watching standup and had wanted to try it since college, but I put it off for a long time, mostly due to stage fright and fear of failure. I finally gave it a try when I was 32 and going through a little bit of a quarter-life crisis. I immediately fell in love with it and it kind of saved my life, gave me an outlet and a sense of fulfillment that I was pretty desperate for. Now I’m 5 years in. I'm very proud of the show I've put together, and I can't wait for people to see it.”
