Milford Man Reports Harassment, Faces Drug Charges Instead
The man claimed he was being harassed, but police found something else entirely.
MILFORD, MA — A man in Milford is now facing drug trafficking charges after calling 911 to claim he was being harassed, according to the Milford Police Department.
On Wednesday afternoon, 30-year-old Jonathan Cabral called an emergency line to report that someone was pointing blue lasers at his vehicle, according to police. The blue Volkswagen was parked behind 29 Congress St.
When officers arrived, he told them he was “not crazy” and claimed he was being harassed. But while Cabral grabbed his ID, officers saw a plastic bag with a tan-colored powder inside the vehicle.

Cabral was charged with possession of Class A drugs and drug trafficking of 18 grams or more, according to police.
