Milford Police: Local Driver Charged with OUI After Early Morning Crash

Sunday, Oct. 12
At 12:23 a.m., Milford police officers responded to a report of an accident in the area of McGill Lane and Haven Street, where a silver BMW reportedly struck a pole. National Grid and Verizon were contacted to respond to the area, and officers arrested Raphael Corona, 20, of Milford, on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation.
At 3:03 a.m., police responded to a report of a one-car accident on Fountain Street; no injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

At 12:52 p.m., a woman told police that her deceased husband had been a victim of credit card larceny from World Gym in Milford.
At 3:05 p.m., police received a report of a two-car accident near Rite Aid on Prospect Street. No injuries were reported.

At 5:50 p.m., a caller reported an open manhole cover in the area of Grant and Walnut streets.
At 7:05 p.m., Upton Police reported an erratic driver in the area of West Street and Countryside Drive.
At 11:05 p.m., a caller reported that two females had been fighting in the Water Street area. Officers responded and found that no fight had occurred and that the two individuals had been looking for money they had misplaced.
