Milford Police: Man Charged with Disturbing the Peace

At 5 a.m., Milford police officers assisted in an investigation during which they arrested [Redacted], 36, of Milford, on a warrant.

At 11:50 a.m., a caller requested officers to assist with a potential phone scam incident.

At 12:51 p.m., police received a report of a two-car accident in the area of Fortune Boulevard and Cedar Street involving a tractor-trailer and a silver Lexus. No injuries were reported.

At 2:20 p.m., Milford police received a request from the North Kingston Police Department to check on a female in Milford who reportedly skipped out on a bill at a salon.

At 5:39 p.m., a caller reported an intoxicated man was causing a disturbance on Purchase Street.

At 6:17 p.m., police responded to Milford Hospital on Prospect Street on a report of a patient who had been causing a disturbance. Police charged Jacob Wildes, 33, of Bellingham, with disturbing the peace.

At 7:56 p.m., police received multiple calls regarding a vehicle striking a pole on Prospect Street. Two vehicles were involved and towed from the scene; National Grid was notified regarding the damaged utility pole.

At 8:07 p.m., police received a report of an apartment on Franklin Street having possibly been broken into, as two window screens appeared to be tampered with in the residence.
