Milford Primary Election Guide
The state primary election is on Tuesday, Sept. 4. Get out the vote.

MILFORD, MA—The state primaries take place on Tuesday, Sept. 4, for all parties, with candidates vying for a slot on the Nov. 6 mid-term election ballot.
Massachusetts has incumbent Elizabeth Warren as the sole Democrat on the ballot for state senator, with Geoff Diehl, John Kingston and Beth Lindstrom on the ballot for the Republicans. Independents Shiva Ayyadurai, John Devine and Joshua Ford are also running for state senate. Scott D. Lively, from Springfield, is taking on Republican Governor Charlie Baker. Jay Gonzalez and Bob Maissie are on the ballot for Governor for the Democrats.
Attorney General candidates in the Republican camp are James R. McMahon and Daniel Shores.

For the Democrats, the fight for Fourth District's Representative in Congress is a race between Joseph Kennedy, III, and Gary Rucinski. No one is running for Congress Rep for the Republicans for the Fourth District.
In both the Democratic and Republican races in Milford, races for state senator and state representative are uncontested.

"We are so fortunate to have such great weather for this Primary Election Day and we are also so thankful for all of our volunteers who have graciously donated their time on our behalf," Brian Murray, who is running for State Representative in the Tenth Worcester District, told Patch. "We are hopeful that everyone participates with their constitutional right to vote."

Here are the voting locations for all precincts:
- Precincts 1 and 6- Milford Senior Center 60 North Bow St
- Precincts 2 and 3- Italian American Veterans Hall 4 Hayward Field
- Precincts 4, 5, 7 and 8 –Milford Portuguese Club 119 Prospect Heights
