MILFORD, MA — Milford is looking for two local residents to serve on the board that oversees the town's public cemetery.

There are two vacancies on the Trustees of Vernon Grove Cemetery following two recent resignations. Vice chair Kristen Gardner resigned in March part way through a term that would've ended in February 2025, and member John Crean resigned before her part way through a term that would've ended in February 2024.

The members of the board are typically elected to three-year terms during spring elections. Since the two recent resignations came in the middle of regular terms, the new appointees will serve the remainder of each term. The appointees would also be able to run for reelection to a full term.
