Milford Shopping Plaza Sold For Over $10 Million

The Aug. 14 transaction is linked to a local car dealership owner.

MILFORD, MA — A notable Fortune Boulevard shopping plaza has been sold to a company that operates several local car dealerships.

In the Aug. 14 transaction, a company called Quarry Place Three LLC paid $10.25 million for the Granite Heights Marketplace plaza, which contains a Staples store. The plaza was previously home to a Bed Bath & Beyond and a TGI Friday’s at the edge of the plaza's parking lot.

Quarry Place Three LLC is managed by Meehan Realty Management Corp., which is linked to Kevin Meehan, the owner of Imperial Cars in Mendon. Meehan also operates a Toyota dealership in Milford less than a half mile from the Granite Heights Marketplace plaza.

The transaction was first reported last week by the Worcester Business Journal.

The seller of the plaza, Newton-based Granite Park Retail LLC, is an affiliate of National Development, a major housing and shopping center developer behind projects like Meadow Walk in Sudbury and the University Station mixed-use center in Westwood.
