Multiple Cars Broken Into Overnight

Residents from various parts of town reported incidents.

At 6:41 a.m. Friday, the first call for a break-in to a motor vehicle was called in, and they didn't stop until early afternoon.

All-in-all, Milford Police were notified of at least 10 broken-into vehicles, many with loose change and other small items missing.

According to police reports many, but not all, of the vehicles were left unlocked around town.

The break-ins were reported on Jillson Circle, Robin Road, Sunset Drive, Edgewood Drive, Coolidge Road, Muriel Lane and Brookfield Road.

Police advise residents to be sure to lock their vehicles overnight to prevent crimes of opportunity.
