Police Log: Child Lost, Found at Kmart, Car Breaks Down in the Drive-Thru

Thursday, Aug. 22
5:50 a.m.: A vehicle was seen on Briar Drive for more than an hour. The caller was worried because of recent break-ins in the area. Police responded but the car was gone.
6:16 p.m.: A child was reported as missing at Kmart. Police were called when he'd been gone about 10 minutes. The boy was age 4 to 5. His grandmother and mother were looking for him. Police responded. The boy was found in the children's furniture area.
7:41 p.m.: A caller reported a man had left Target in a BMW with a young infant in no car seat. The baby was sitting in an adult's lap. The vehicle then went on to Fortune Boulevard. Police could not find it.
8:22 p.m.: A caller reported a loud noise on Pearl Street. The caller said children were playing in the parking lot behind the building. Police responded and found nothing.
9:53 p.m.: A caller said her boyfriend had assaulted her. Police responded and arrested Edwin Santos, 35, of 19 Green St., Apt. 9, Milford, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
Friday, Aug. 23
2:52 a.m.: A woman reported she was broken down in the drive thru of CVS Pharmacy, and was asking for police help. The town truck driver was refusing to remove the vehicle.
9:52 a.m.: Framingham Police asked police in Milford to check for a vehicle involved in a hit and run. Police could not find the car.
10:09 a.m.: A woman reported she was bitten by a cat on Maher Court the previous night. A message was left for the Animal Control officer.
10:29 a.m.: A man said he was being harassed and threatened by his neighbors.
11:20 a.m.: A landlord said he had not seen his tenant since Monday. Police determined the tenant was in the hospital.
12:22 p.m.: A woman reported someone had used her name to open a bank account at TD Bank North.
12:36 p.m.: A two-car crash with injury was reported on West Street. Two people were taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
12:50 p.m.: A two-car crash with injury was reported on Cedar Street. At least one person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
4:38 p.m.: Youths were prevented from going into the quarries, on Walden Way.
