Police Log: Driver Leaves Crash Scene Despite Injury
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, May 1
4:09 p.m.: A caller on North Bow Street reported someone had stolen his property. Police spoke to both parties and determined no crime had been committed.
4:37 p.m.: A caller said his pedal bike was stolen overnight. It had been in his garage on Joseph Road.

6:14 p.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about her 12-year-old daughter being bullied in school.
6:42 p.m.: A caller on Cedar Street reported seeing a plume of smoke directly behind his house. Firefighters discovered a brush fire, and determined it covered about an acre. Firefighters then determined the fire had spread to 2.5 to 3 acres. Firefighters contained it, then extinguished it.

9:41 p.m.: A woman called from North Street to report her car had been hit at the Cedar Street-Dilla Street intersection near Wendy's. Police are seeking a summons to charge Luciano Vieira, 17, of 57 S. Main St., Milford, with leaving the scene of personal injury. Police called an ambulance to examine a head injury on the woman involved in the hit-and-run. She was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
9:58 p.m.: A caller reported a 19-year-old woman was threatening his 16-year-old daughter.
Thursday, May 2
6:58 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Beaver Street, police were seeking a summons to charge Debora DeOliveira, 23, of 13 Water St., Apt. 1, Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of a special regulation.
8:49 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to speak to an officer. He was buying a vehicle that was part of a divorce, and the woman involved would not allow him on the property to obtain the vehicle he had purchased. An officer advised the man how to proceed, and said he should contact police if he needs assistance again.
12:21 p.m.: A brush fire was reported near Walden Way. The command later relocated to Haven Street to access the fire. Hopkinton assisted Milford.
12:52 p.m.: An erratic driver was reported on Depot Street. A man reported an elderly woman driving a gold Ford Taurus was heading toward and all over the road.
1:04 p.m.: A man reported he owns property on Green Street, and one of his tenants was threatening him.
1:14 p.m.: A woman reported a window to her bedroom on Prospect Heights was broken.
1:52 p.m.: Kohl's security reported a woman had been stopped for shoplifting. Police are seeking a summons to charge Heather J. Bodreau, 36, of C106 Oakwood Dr., Bellingham, with larceny over $250.
3:19 p.m.: A brush fire was reported on Eben Street. Firefighters dispatched Hopkinton from another brush fire in Milford.
