Police Log: Franklin Man Charged with Shoplifting at Target in Milford
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Tuesday, Sept. 30
At 2:31 a.m., Milford Police located a reported stolen vehicle parked at Milford High School. Officers notified the vehicle owner.
At 9:37 a.m., a caller reported that she had been the victim of fraud, as her credit card had been used for unauthorized charges.

At 2:46 p.m., an employee from Target reported to police that a man had been stopped for shoplifting at the store. Officers arrested Ryan Sharp. 20, of Franklin, on charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and larceny of less than $250.
At 2:47 p.m., a caller reported that he was the victim of fraud over the phone, having received a phone call from someone claiming to work with Microsoft and looking to help fix a computer. The victim reportedly gave the caller Pay Pal information.

At 2:54 p.m., police responded to a report of a two-car accident in the area of Cedar Street and Genoa Avenue. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
At 9:02 p.m., a caller from the Milford Mandarin Restaurant on East Main Street reported a fight on the property that began in the interior of the restaurant and then moved outside. Officers responded and determined the matter to be a verbal argument only, with no physical altercation having occurred.
At 10:21 p.m., a caller from Burger King reported that water had been flowing into the building. The Milford Fire Department determined the cause to be a sprinkler activation and also notified the Milford Board of Health.
