Police Log: Hypodermic Needles Reportedly Dumped Near Stream on Dilla Street

Sunday, Sept. 28
At 12:24 a.m., a caller reported to Milford Police that a group of people had been loud outside of her home on Luby Avenue.
At 12:25 a.m., police received a report that vehicles were parked on River Street and that loud music was overheard in a backyard in the area.

At 3:37 a.m., Milford police responded to the Holiday Inn Express on Fortune Boulevard on a report that a man was in the lobby and refusing to leave. Officers arrested Matthew Bravo, 25, of East Hartford, Connecticut, for trespassing and disorderly conduct.
At 9:17 a.m., police received a report that about 15 hypodermic needles had been dumped near a stream and bench near the bike path on Dilla Street.

At 12:40 p.m., a caller reported that his vehicle had been ransacked while parked on Congress Street, though nothing was reportedly taken from the vehicle.
At 6:18 p.m., a caller reported that nearby neighbors had been “peeing on the sidewalk and off the porch” in the School Street area. Officers responded, spoke to the parties and issued a parking ticket, according to police reports.
